Interplanting Stepping Stones In The Garden

The stepping stone path is a delightful element to have in the garden. They can expand and contract in size and morph into a sitting area if needed. They can also help lead the eye to other parts of the garden that may be hidden around a corner of evergreen shrubs evoking a sense of mystery.

But what makes a stepping stone path come alive is what you plant in between the stones. There are quite a few plants that are ideal for doing this.

The trick is to make the plants merge with the higher growing plants on the edge of the path for a seamless look.
